The location selection process is underway. 'Protocol of the Cat' should begin shooting in late fall here in the south. Our casting team is also starting the search for the principles and other actors in the movie in July. We also believe that talent is not localized in California. We want to provide an outlet for the exceptionally talented that cannot or chooses not to live their lives on Hollywood & Vine.
The creative carpenter that could design & build scenery, the seamstress that knows how to build a costume that fits the needs of the film, a grandpa that makes up clever stories for his grandkids, the small business owner that could provide logistics, the high school student that wants to learn the film business, all of these and almost any other person in their everyday walk of life can contribute to the story telling process. Film making is just telling an engaging story.
Conventional wisdom says only the professional film makers with multi-million dollar budgets can make masterpieces. We here at Palmetto Moon Studios are here to tell you that is just not the case. From our own experience we have seen 'ordinary' people rise to the occasion and produce outstanding product.
Everyone started somewhere. De Niro, Eastwood, Taylor, Fonda, Bell, Hopkins, Connery, Delaney, O'Conner, Stewart, Cagney, etc. all did something before they were mega-stars. But they tried and found they could do it..
There are many talented people around un in our daily lives that can contribute to the process too. Perhaps it is you.
